I love having a really Christmas tree in my home but for some who want to decorate early, are allergic or don’t like the mess, faux is the way to go! Although we love a really tree in my family today, growing up we always had a faux tree. I LOVED that tree. For a good twenty years, I knew that faux tree to be the marker of Christmas. I can still picture it as I type. My brother and I were super sad when it had to be tossed due to wear and tear.

This year for Christmas, I am seeing a lot of neutral colors sprinkled with red and green. Neutral colors are great because it allows you to leave your decor up longer without having to always buy new stuff! I love to start with white lights, cozy neutrals, and layered white textures to create a cozy, warm, white Christmas. Add some red bulbs, vintage Santa mugs or green garland (and one of these super cute and affordable Christmas trees) and you have a festive, timeless look that you will love year after year.
